She is extremely bonded to Phoebe, and we would love to see them adopted together, but it is not absolutely necessary. Blake came to FARM in need of a forever home. He is a ten year old, 12 pound neutered male Chihuahua. Blake enjoys going for car rides and walks. He will take some time to warm up, as he is shy with new people, but once he gets to know you he will be your best buddy. Blake is not housebroken, and he is not a fan of being picked up, however he will jump up on your lap. He gets along with other dogs his size, but can be a little pushy at first. Chewy came to FARM in need if a forever home. He is the sweetest boy. Chewy is affectionate, and wants nothing more than to be with a human who will give him lots of love and attention. Chewy is a 16 pound, 2 year old neutered male Lhasa Apso. He does fine with other small well socialized dogs, but humans are his favorite. He uses a weewee pad if he is not able to go outside to go to the bathroom. Chewy limps when tired from an old injury on his left front leg but also runs and plays without any issue. He is currently on carprofen to keep him comfortable. Chewy's ideal home would be with an owner who is home a lot and wants an affectionate dog. He would do fine in a condo or apartment. Due to his old injury, we want to limit his exercise, especially with steps. Meet and greets for approved adopters will be by appointment. Bella came to FARM in need of a forever home. She is a 4 year old, 9 pound spayed female Shih Tzu mix. Bella is affectionate, very playful, and is energetic. She is also an accomplished escape artist and is able to squeeze through the tiniest spaces and take off. Bella does fine with other small dogs and loves people. She uses a weewee pad when she is not able to go outside to the bathroom. Bella absolutely loves being outside, but again, she has now escaped from people numerous times and ended up a the shelter. Bella's perfect home would be with an owner who wants an affectionate, energetic, and smart young dog and has a very, very secure home. Meet and greets for approved adopters will be by appointment. Simon came to FARM in need of a forever home. He is a ten year old, fifteen pound Lhasa mix. Simon is a very sweet attention loving boy. You would not believe he is ten by the way he jumps and gets excited when you get his leash out to go for a walk. Simon is currently working on not barking when he sees strangers, especially on walks. He is house broken. Simon has been doing great with his foster brother, so we believe he would be fine in a home with other dogs. He absolutely loves being petted. Sometimes he will paw at you to ask for pets, or he will roll over for a belly rub. Simon does not like to be apart from his people. He seems to suffer from some separation anxiety when left alone or he cannot see you. He is, however, not destructive and is completely relaxed if he can be in the same room with you or at least is able to see you. He already knows a few simple commands such as sit, down, and he will come right away when called. Meet and greets for approved adopters will be by appointment.
